An evening with our friends at Fuller Springs in Lufkin, Texas

The Center Noon Lion's Club Gospel Concert, featuring the Calvary Boys and the Dixie Melody Boys was a huge success!
The Calvary Boys Quartet got the evening started!
The Dixie Melody Boys were in from Kinston, NC, to delight the crowd.
Andrew had a busy night, filling in for Ron, as lead in the quartet...
...AND even took his old spot with the Dixie Melody Boys to sing "When I Cross To The Other Side Of Jordan"
The audience was even successful in getting Aaron to sing "Didn't It Rain"!
Chip and Kelley enjoying the Dixie Melody Boys
It is a treat when Ed O'neal's wife, Joy gets to come along.

Special 'thank you's' are extended to the Center, Tx Noon Lion's Club, and especially Billy Clyde Duncan, who works tirelessly on this great concert.
Also, to the staff of the Windham Civic Center.
This is a great facility, and they roll out the red carpet for the performers AND the guests!
The Calvary Boys had a fun packed evening with our friends in Groveton, TX. We have been going to Josserand for many, many years to sing at their anniversary singing every October.
Andrew and Aaron pose with our long time friend Melissa. 'Missy' sang with the world famous Chuck Wagon Gang.
The Thompsons were in attendance. What a delight! If you need to know about convention singing, singing schools, or old time quartet history, you MAY want to ask Pauline.
Bill navigates the East Texas roads in a masterful way.
Alisa and Cheryl enjoy some conversation on the trip.

There are always lots of photos taken and shared, when Martha Mericle and Lezlea Howell bring their cameras!

A pot-luck meal begins at 6:00pm and singing follows.
Everyone is invited to participate as well as listen.
The CBQ enjoyed the good local crowd of friends and family that gathered, and had a relaxing and rewarding evening.
An informal and relaxed sound check preceeded and equally informal and relaxed concert. It is GREAT to get to sing at home for all the wonderful Tenaha folks!
